I am a 20 year educator with experience helping teens and adolescents navigate the trials of everyday life that interfere with academic success. I've helped with the unification of families to aid in the success of their children. In addition, I've helped young adults transition from childhood to adulthood and helped navigate various transitional stages of life. Finally, I've helped couples increase communication to strengthen their bond.
I am a graduate of Lamar University in Beaumont, TX where I obtained an M.Ed in School Counseling in 2013 and furthered my education to become LPC. Upon completion, I continued my development by studying to become a LCDC-Intern (Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor) and C.A.R.T. (Certified Anger Resolution Therapist). I began my career in private practice prior to becoming a school counselor. Once the opportunity presented itself, I began to do both however, I was disappointed in my limitations as a school counselor and decided to fully commit to help everyone at various stages of life.
I am a Person-Centered Therapist and I belief that people can attain their goals and be who they strive to be with support NOT FIXING.
